re: pvc pipe room divider, what do I use for feet?
Making portable room dividers for our church nursery. They will have to be taken down and stored each week so they must be portable (can't be connected to any walls). So we need something to steady the dividers - feet? wheels that lock? (I'll be connecting the dividers to each other with velcro fasteners).

I would go out to Home Depot or some similar home project store -- They should have wheels that have stops on them. Once you get those, assuming you can drill into the PVC, you can attach them and they'll certainly be sturdy enough.

My college roommate and I just completed a similar project -- We constructed a PVC room divider but it kept moving around or falling over. After getting tired of stubbing our toes on cinder blocks we took a trip to Home Depot and got the wheels. It works like a charm now. Our wheels are white, and pretty hefty.

If you are, or if you can find someone who is quite handy when it comes to home construction you might even be able to make them detachable.

Hope this helps a bit?
If on the bottem you put a t and put 6" extensions both way the divider should be stable then 90degree elbows pointing down to attatch wheels to
