Please suggest best placement according to Western Feng Shui for a room divider?
It is mostly decorative and is made from metal but is also a votive holder. It has a brassy appearance, so it could combine metal with fire. Thanks!

fengshui is chinese. so, i am not aware of any fengshui that is western. and i am practicing fengshui for a very long time.

in fengshui, the most important is location and direction:
- where your house is located: if you live in an area where there are millionaires, then chances are your lifestyle is somewhere near theirs; there is always explanation in fengshui. so the best way to go about this is just do your calculations based on fengshui methods, then just do it.
- where your front door is located and directed to/ facing degree direction: this determines what kind of life you will have living in that house. it also determines energy distribution, and your room divider will have a good use if you know energy distribution (different from flow, not similar to what most fengshui books are referring to).
- where your rooms are located inside the house: remember your energy distribution chart? well, you need to put your kitchen (wealth) and bedroom (health) where the good energy exists. the same chart will tell you how to activate your chart. without activating your chart, you are not using the energy of your house to your advantage.
- if you get these right, then these are more powerrful than what most fengshui books are recommending.
