Can I hang curtains from popcorn ceiling to be used as a room divider?
I have popcorn ceiling in my rented apartment and I want to use a curtain hanging from ceiling to seperate the crib from our bed in our bedroom. Is that possible? If so, please let me know how!
Thanks!

Yes it is possible just make sure you use a smart anchor or something on those lines (if you type in drywall anchor you will know what I mean).

So the steps are
1. Drill a hole a little smaller than the drywall anchor
2. Hammer the drywall anchor in
3. screw the hook you are using into the drywall anchor
4. Hang your curtain up on your hooks
5. Voilla you have a room divider

For best results use as many hooks as you can and try and use a anchor that isnt plastic

Good luck
Landlords don't like permanent damages on walls or ceilings and popcorn is hard to restore. You would be better off to use accordion type dividers that sit on the floor. If you must hang a curtain, find a stud on opposing walls and install 2 screw-in hooks and tie a heavy cord or small rope or a wire across the room up high. Two holes in the walls will be easier to fill.
