Where can I find a ROOM DIVIDER for a young girl and boy sharing the same room?
My sister just bought a house. It's a great house but it has 2 bedrooms and its 3 people. Her and her 2 kids. Now the kids room is rather large..so it can actually be made into 3 bedrooms. But instead doing a bunch of construction on the house right now.. we'd like to know where can we find some sort of large partition or divider that will separate the room into 2.

Using bi-fold closet doors, standing on the floor and connected to rafters in the ceiling, will provide a temporary divider but you won't get much privacy. If they are young children, it will work great but if they are teenagers, you may want to get a local carpenter to build a freestanding wall with studs and sheetrock. We had the same problem. My father used our dining room as my younger brother's bedroom. He had a wall built, it stood on the floor and connected to the ceiling. When he moved out, the wall was just removed with no damage to the remaining walls, floor or ceiling.
1] Put tall chests of drawers or dressers in middle of room as divider - hers facing her side, his facing his side
2] put a bulletin board on back of each chest, that each can use for their art.
3] kids will have private areas on each side for dressing, sleeping - and plenty of room in front for play area.
My family has used this before - works nicely, and you don't need to buy anything!
