What can I use as a room divider for my finished basement?
The basement is one large room. The back half is used for storage. The front half is a playroom. I need to put something up which will keep the kids out of the storage area, and also keep the boxes and stuff out of sight.

Any ideas for what I can use as a room divider? It needs to be safe (so that the kids can't pull it down).

You could use a long drape, attached to the ceiling with a rod. Or, you could use a product from Hunter Douglas called Skyline. It is a panel window treatment that can be used as a room divider. It's very cool looking, strong and easy to use. It will depend on your budget, since this product is not inexpensive. Check out http://www.hunt… for more info.
Out of site out of mind. Roll up blinds like you use on a porch, they're cheap and you can put their art work on it. Just slip the ends in like a photo album. They'll love that and not want to touch the "ART" wall or cable strung across and curtains. Good luck!
